HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) is a biodiesel that can be produced from the same raw materials as FAME. HVO can be blended in higher ratios into regular diesel than is possible with FAME. What determines the blending ratio is that the pre-blended diesel product meets the product standard for diesel. HVO can be either conventional or advanced biofuel. The determining factor is the raw material from which it is produced. HVO100 is a high-blend product consisting solely of HVO.
