Kystbunker AS operates a modern fleet of three oil tankers from Tananger in the south to Kirkenes in the north. We are an important part of Norway's emergency response infrastructure and deliver fuel and Mobil™ lubricants along the entire Norwegian coast.
Our current General Manager is retiring. We are therefore seeking a forward-leaning and strategic General Manager with maritime understanding, who can start on January 1, 2026 (or by agreement).
As General Manager, you will have overall responsibility for operations, development, and growth, and will be a key person in ensuring we deliver high quality and safety to our customers and dealers.
𝗔𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗸𝘀
• Overall responsibility for daily operations and finance
• Lead and develop the organization, including crew/crewing
• Ensure that the shipping company is operated in line with laws, regulations, and safety requirements
• Overall responsibility for HSE, crewing, and technical operation of the fleet
𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
• Higher education in maritime industry or economics/management – relevant experience can compensate
• Documented leadership experience, preferably from a shipping company, maritime, or maritime industry
• Technical experience from operation and repair of ships
• Good knowledge of national and international maritime regulatory frameworks
• Very good communication skills in Norwegian and English, written and oral
