Mobilux™ EP 004 is a general-purpose industrial lubricant and two semi-fluid special greases. These lithium hydroxystearate greases are formulated to provide extra protection against wear, rust, and water washout. Mobilux EP 004 is particularly well-suited for the lubrication of enclosed gears and bearings in poorly sealed gearboxes, in addition to many other industrial applications where conventional gear oils cannot be retained in equipment such as gearboxes and chain cases due to leakage from worn or missing seals. The recommended operating temperature range is -20 to 120 ºC.
