Mobiltac 375 NC is a thick lead-free, solvent-containing lubricant with extra high performance designed for open gears and mining equipment. It contains non-chlorinated, volatile solvents to ensure easy application even at low temperatures. After application, the solvent will evaporate and leave a strong and flexible lubricating film that adheres well for a long time. Mobiltac 375 NC adheres well to gear teeth and other equipment, is not flung off to any significant extent, and provides a viscous, durable, and continuous film that gives good lubrication under boundary lubrication conditions. Mobiltac 375 NC does not harden and will not flake or peel off in the cold. It is self-healing and will not build up at the root of the gear teeth. They are easily wiped away with a rag dipped in solvent. These lubricants resist snow, rain, and water washout with process water. Relatively high flash points minimize the risk of fire. These latest generation lubricants for gear and mining operations are easy to apply, either by hand or with automatic equipment.
