Mobilgard 410 NC (no chlorine) engine oil is a zinc- and chlorine-free lubricant specifically formulated with an additive technology approved by Progress Rail (EMD) and General Electric (GE) to meet the requirements of heavily loaded diesel engines manufactured by EMD for marine applications. Its alkaline reserve provides excellent corrosion protection when using fuels containing up to 0.05 weight percent sulfur, even when metals such as steel, copper, silver, and bronze are present. It has excellent lubricating properties and a high viscosity index that helps reduce oil consumption. It is optimized for the use of low and ultra-low sulfur fuels and is ready for LNG, biofuels, and Tier IV engines.
