Mobil SHC 525 is a superior performance hydraulic oil formulated from synthetic, wax-free hydrocarbon base fluids combined with a carefully engineered ultra-stable additive system. The oil is of exceptionally high quality, has high shear stability, and can be used over a wide temperature range. The oils have good pumpability, even at low temperatures. In addition, they provide maximum wear protection for high-pressure vane, piston, and gear pumps. It has been developed in conjunction with major OEMs to meet the stringent requirements of demanding hydraulic systems using high-pressure, high-output pumps, as well as to address the critical requirements of other hydraulic system components such as close-clearance servo-valves and high-precision numerically controlled (NC) machine tools.
