Mobilcut is the trademark for high-performance cutting fluids in Mobil's series of industrial lubricants. All Mobilcut products are free of chlorinated and formaldehyde-donating release agents (FAD). Mobilcut 260-New is a high-performance fluid that emulsifies easily in water to form a stable milky emulsion. The product is designed for a variety of water qualities and especially hard water. It offers good resistance to foaming in soft water, even in high-pressure systems. Although it contains only a very small amount of stabilizers, it is extremely tolerant of dirt and contamination. The product therefore provides longer coolant life compared to conventional emulsifiable oils, while being easy to care for and maintain. In addition, Mobilcut 260-New is boron-free. It provides outstanding and lasting corrosion protection, as well as very good wetting and cleaning properties. The base oil selection, together with EP additives and lubricants, provides a high degree of machining performance and very high quality of the finished product for aluminum and its alloys. Mobilcut 260-New has been shown to have no particular dermatological relevance.
