Biodegradable hydraulic oil The lubricants in the Mobil SHC™ Aware™ series are high-performance, anti-wear hydraulic oils designed to satisfy the demand for environmentally friendly hydraulic lubricants. The lubricants in the Mobil SHC Aware Hydraulic series meet the requirements of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the 2013 Vessel General Permit (VGP), and EU EcoLabel regulations. The oils are biodegradable, minimally toxic, and non-bioaccumulative, and can be used in hydraulic equipment where spillage or leakage could lead to an adverse environmental impact. In addition, the oils are specially formulated to provide exceptional anti-wear and film thickness properties required for the most demanding hydraulic systems.
