Biodegradable hydraulic oil The lubricants in the Mobil SHC™ Aware™ series are high-performance, anti-wear hydraulic oils developed to meet the demand for environmentally friendly hydraulic lubricants. The lubricants in the Mobil SHC Aware Hydraulic series meet the requirements of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2013 Vessel General Permit (VGP) and the EU EcoLabel regulations. The oils are biodegradable, minimally toxic, and non-bioaccumulative, and can be used in hydraulic equipment where spills or leakage could result in an adverse environmental impact. In addition, the oils are specially formulated to provide exceptional anti-wear and film thickness properties, which are required for the most demanding hydraulic systems. The lubricants in the Mobil SHC Aware Hydraulic series also have the potential to provide improved hydraulic efficiency* compared to ExxonMobil's standard hydraulic fluids.
