The grease is a high-performance, synthetic product specifically developed for environmentally sensitive applications, meeting the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 2013 Vessel General Permit (VGP) guidelines and EU Ecolabel requirements. The product is readily biodegradable and virtually non-toxic, as it is composed of biodegradable, saturated, ester-based base oils thickened with a lithium/calcium soap. They do not emulsify and have excellent water wash-off resistance and protection against saltwater corrosion.
