Gear and bearing oil with excellent performance at high and low temperatures, as well as improved air release properties in the lower viscosity grades. The products resist mechanical shear, even in highly loaded gears and bearings, resulting in virtually no reduction in viscosity. The oil also offers exceptionally good resistance to oxidation and deposit formation at elevated temperatures, in addition to very good resistance to rust and corrosion, wear protection, demulsibility, foam control, and air separation capability, as well as compatibility with various metals. The oils in the upgraded Mobil SHC 600 series maintain good compatibility with seals and other materials used in equipment typically lubricated with mineral oils.
