Fully synthetic lubricating oil with superior performance, specially designed for use in refrigeration compressors and heat pumps. Formulated from wax-free, synthetic hydrocarbons of the polyalphaolefin (PAO) type, which provide unique thermal/oxidation resistance. Mobil Gargoyle Arctic SHC 226E is recommended for the lubrication of refrigeration compressors operating at very high temperatures, and systems with very low evaporation temperatures. They are suitable for compressor systems using refrigerants such as ammonia and CO2. Compatible with most refrigerants, but not with sulfur dioxide.
