Refrigeration compressor oil for systems with HFC-134a refrigerant. Mobil EAL Arctic is specially designed for the lubrication of refrigeration compressors and systems where ozone-friendly HFC refrigerants are used. (HFCs are chlorine-free products that replace chlorine-containing refrigerants on the world market). They are also recommended for certain CO2 systems (typically reciprocating compressors). The oils in the Mobil EAL Arctic series are formulated from proprietary polyol esters (POE) and a unique additive system to provide outstanding lubricity, wear protection, chemical and thermal stability, as well as hydrolytic stability.
