Mobil Delvac XHP ESP 10W-40 is a newly developed synthetic EHPD (extra high performance) diesel engine oil designed to satisfy the growing demands of high-performance modern low-emission Euro V/VI engines. The oil is formulated to perform in heavily loaded engines under low and high temperatures, and possesses excellent viscosity index properties. The newly developed additive system is engineered to extend lease of life to the oil and maintain the efficiency of emission reduction systems in modern trucks with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), Continuously Regenerating Traps (CRT), Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC), and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR). High-performance and low-emission engines place greater demands on the lubricating oil, requiring enhanced performance regarding oxidation stability, soot handling capability, and compatibility with exhaust aftertreatment components.
