Sales mandate

In Norway, we have four sales mandates for the use of biofuels. This means that of all fuel sold, there is a requirement that a certain proportion must be biofuel. In 2024, this is 19% for road traffic, 10% for non-road machinery and other purposes, 6% for shipping, and 0.5% for aviation.
