Our certifications and management systems ensure high quality, responsible environmental practices, and safe operations in all parts of our business.
ISO 9001 certified for Quality Management
We have received the Management System Certificate as proof that we have quality at every stage within the Sale and distribution of fuel, lubricants, and related products.
Important elements of the standard are:

The ISO certification applies to our facilities in Ålesund, Bergen, Tromsø, Hammerfest, Båtsfjord, and Kirkenes.

ISO 14001 certified for Environmental Management
This is a seal of quality for Bunker Oil, which guarantees to our customers and other stakeholders that we take the environment seriously. The certification commits us to having a sound environmental policy in all areas of our business. We have received the Environmental System Certification as proof that we have effective environmental management within the sale and distribution of fuel, lubricants, and related products.

Achilles certified for the oil industry
We work purposefully to satisfy the requirements of the Achilles Joint Qualification System for the oil industry in Norway and Denmark. The certificate ensures our systems within quality, health, safety, and environment (QSHE)
ISCC certified for the oil industry
ISCC is a globally recognized sustainability certification system that covers all sustainable raw materials, including biomass from agriculture and forestry, biogenic waste and residues, circular materials, and renewable energy. ISCC is Norway's most widely used certificate for companies that want to document their environmental efforts and demonstrate social responsibility.
Eco-Lighthouse-certified
Eco-Lighthouse® is Norway's most widely used certificate for businesses that want to document their environmental efforts and demonstrate social responsibility.
Being an Eco-Lighthouse® involves systematic work with environmental measures in everyday life. The businesses meet requirements and implement measures for a more environmentally friendly operation and a good working environment.
Eco-Lighthouse® has tailored requirements for different industries, and the certificate is awarded after an independent assessment. Annual environmental reports are submitted, and every three years the business is re-certified.

Bunker Oil AS shall be a reliable supplier that is outstanding in service, and a partner and problem solver for our customers. We shall manage an efficient, service-oriented and competent organization through continuous development and necessary restructurings.
To ensure that we fulfill our responsibility and our commitments to our customers, employees, partners, suppliers and owners, we have committed ourselves to the following:

Environmental policy
We are aware of our environmental impact and make conscious choices so that our activities affect the external environment as little as possible. We shall pursue continuous improvement in environmental initiatives such as waste sorting, environmental saving measures, and return schemes.
To ensure that we fulfill our responsibility and our commitments to our customers, employees, partners, suppliers, and owners, we have committed ourselves to the following:
Comply with requirements and obligations imposed on us through environmental legislation, Eco-Lighthouse (Miljøfyrtårn), and ISO 14001:2015.
Reduce mixed waste by facilitating and training in proper waste sorting at our facilities.
Reduce travel activities by encouraging the use of virtual meeting rooms wherever possible.
Make environmentally conscious choices when purchasing products. Where environmentally friendly products are good alternatives, these should be preferred.
Maintain a continuous focus on preventing emissions that could harm the external environment.
Our overall environmental goal:
Reduce our footprint through targeted improvement within our significant environmental aspects - sorting waste and reducing residual waste, mapping and reducing our climate emissions in our daily operations.
HSE Policy
Our operations are based on safe operation with a zero-harm vision for human life and health, the external and internal environment, as well as material assets. All unwanted incidents shall be avoided by ensuring our activities are carried out in a safe and organized manner.
